Does Birchwood have quantity minimums?

No, we do not have any set minimums. We do have a $1,500 to $2,000 set up charge for running an order, whether it is a tube, packet, bottle, jar, and/or mixing of a solution. Depends on the type of product and equipment need for mixing and filling.

Can you fill OTC (over the counter) or medical device products?

Yes, we are an FDA registered facility, and follow cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines set by the FDA.

What are average lead times for production runs?

Since we have a variety of filling equipment and production rooms, we can usually get your product into our production schedule within two to three weeks from the delivery of raw materials. Production lead times will vary depending on the quantity ordered. However, a general rule of thumb is small orders of 5,000 - 50,000 pieces is about 2 to 3 weeks. Medium size orders of 50,000 - 250,000 pieces should anticipate a 3 to 6 week lead time. Large orders of 500,000 to 2 million pieces should expect about 6 to 12 weeks for their lead time.

Where would our products be stored?

We store your finished goods and raw materials right here at our facilities. We have a climate-controlled warehouse where your raw materials will safely be stored until they go into production.
