First, Minnesota is renowned for its robust supplies of clean water. We are, after all, the land of 10,000 lakes! For many decades, we’ve built a reputation as a big headquarters state, home to many big-name industries and food companies. Undoubtedly, their access to high-quality, affordable water supplies has played an important role in their success.
It’s no different for us here in Eden Prairie.
Our city’s water is pumped in from the Prairie du Chien-Jordan aquifer group. This is a massive underground water source that covers hundreds of square miles, supplying much of the water needs for the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. This water has passed through layers of sandstone, which is a natural filter that cleans it of pollutants and contaminants.
The water we start with is already great. Once it’s prepared by our purification system, it's the perfect final ingredient for your product.
